Birch Run Speedway
2025 wrapped up with a bow as Champions and more are honored
A home-cooked meal and awards awaited the attendees of the 2025 Birch Run Speedway and Event Center Banquet on Saturday, November 1st. The top five in each class, as well as the respective Rookies of the Year and special award winners, were recognized for their efforts.
Track owner Andy Suski addressed the room, reiterating his enjoyment of owning the track and being part of the racing community.
General Manager Gus Englehardt spoke to the room, thanking everyone for their support and taking the time to award Jim Miller Jr and Senior with an Appreciation award for their contributions in helping Birch Run Speedway.
The NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Racing Series Division Class Champions for 2025 were honored, and they are:
O'Guinn Family Funeral Homes Modifieds - David McManus
True Performance and Fabrication Limited Late Models - Dalton Worthy
Showcase Auto Sales Street Stocks - Johnny Hayden
Finish Line Seamless Gutters Pure Stocks - Jim Miller Jr.
Finishing in the top five in those divisions were:
O'Guinn Family Funeral Homes Modifieds - Michael Luberda Jr, Nick Lechota, Lonnie Saumier Jr, and Steven Pelky II
True Performance and Fabrication Limited Late Models - Josh Hahn, Matt Mueller, Shawn Edmonds, and Bob Farley
Showcase Auto Sales Street Stocks - John Leonard, Chaz Taylor, Duane Damon, and Larry Plamondon
Finish Line Seamless Gutters Pure Stocks - Bruce Dunton Jr, Anthony Duvernois, Lonnie Saumier Jr, and Bill Livesay
In the Backroad Beaute' Salon American Trucks, Darren Burton was recognized as the 2025 Champion. Finishing second through fifth were Charles Hamilton, Gregory Long III, Ricky Gillett, and Josh Shaw.
Mark Williamson took the hardware as Champion of the Front Wheel Drive class. Daegan Clayton, Gavin Iseler, Emily Clayton, and Logan McCaslin garnered second through fifth.
A special thank you to John Leonard of Showcase Auto Sales, Duane Damon from Finish Line Seamless Gutters, and Crystal Congdon of Backroad Beaute' Salon for helping hand out the awards.

The Champions were called back up for a special presentation by Ricke and Deanna Bryant of Top Speed Motorsports and TSM Graphics. Each Champion was gifted a custom-engraved wood plaque with the image of their Championship vehicle on it.
Jacob Michael, a regular competitor in the Monster X Metals and Gold Destruction races, was named the Sportsman of the Year for consistently assisting competitors off the track during those events.
Bob Farley (True Performance and Fabrication Limited Late Models) and Darren Burton (Backroad Beaute' Salon American Trucks) received trophies for establishing new track records for their respective classes in 2025.
The 2026 Birch Run Speedway Schedule is being finalized along with the rules, and those will be released within the coming months on the track's website and Facebook page as soon as they become available.
